Katie Ophelders, CIM
Vice President, Relationship Management & Operations

Katie joined Sionna in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Katie was an Account Supervisor at a marketing and communications agency, primarily working with clients in the financial services industry, including Sionna. She earned her Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University and after graduating, Katie spent several months volunteering at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and Paralympics. She holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation.

Claire Carter
Associate, Relationship Management

Claire joined Sionna in 2017 as a Coordinator on the relationship management team. Claire brings several years of experience in the industry, including trading operations positions at Northern Trust Bank and Toji Trading Group. Most recently, she was a member services consultant for a large trade association. Claire attended Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration, with concentrations in finance and marketing and a minor in psychology.
