Nicole joined Sionna in 2023 as Associate, Portfolio Operations. Nicole first joined the industry in 2021, and prior to joining Sionna she was in a fund accounting role at Citco. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree, specializing in accounting and finance, from University of Manitoba.
Liujian joined Sionna in 2022 and is an Associate, Portfolio Operations and Junior Trader. He first joined the industry in 2017, and prior to joining Sionna was an Analyst at TD Asset Management. Liujian earned his Master’s degree in Finance from McMaster University, holds the Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) designation and is a CFA® charterholder.
Zion joined Sionna in 2018 as Associate, Performance and Analytics. He has a number of years of experience in the industry, most recently as a Senior Performance Analyst at Sentry Investments. Zion earned his Bachelor of Arts, with a major in economics from the University of Waterloo, holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation and successfully passed Level I of the CFA Program.
Hunter joined Sionna as a Junior Trader in 2017. He earned his Honours Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at Western University and completed a degree in Economics from Western University. Prior to joining Sionna, Hunter was an Institutional Equities Sales and Trading Summer Analyst at RBC. He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of CFA Society Toronto. Hunter is set to complete his Master of Liberal Arts in Extension Studies from Harvard University next year.
Nina joined Sionna in 2013 as Executive Assistant to the President and Chief Investment Officer. In 2019, she assumed her current role as Associate, Operations, taking on more responsibility in the areas of facilities management, human resources and finance. Prior to joining the firm, she spent nine years at Canderel Management, where she provided administrative support to members of the senior management team. Nina has successfully completed both the Leadership in Administration and the Excellence in Administration professional development programs through Rotman School of Management.
Paul joined Sionna in 2013 and is Sionna's President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) and has more than 25 years of experience in the industry. Paul earned his Honours Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and is a CFA® charterholder and a Chartered Professional Accountant. He is a member of CFA Society Toronto and serves as a mentor in the CFA Mentorship Program. Paul is a member of the Portfolio Management Association of Canada and is a past Chair of its Operations Heads’ Network. Paul served his third consecutive two-year term on the Ontario Securities Commission’s Registrant Advisory Committee.
Chauntay joined Sionna in 2007 as part of the relationship management team, and has been taking on greater responsibility throughout the firm. In 2023, she assumed her current role as Director, Compliance on the operations team supporting the Chief Compliance Officer. Chauntay has completed the Osgoode Certificate in Regulatory Compliance and Legal Risk Management for Financial Institutions.
